Why we built Peak the way we built it
Marcus Petrov founded Peak in 2013 after eight years as a form carpenter and finisher for a Cambridge GC — watching customers get sold under-spec'd driveways at thin pricing that failed in 4-5 New England winters. The pattern: 3 inches of concrete on 2 inches of base, no rebar, no proper air-entrainment for freeze-thaw, and a 1-year warranty that quietly expired before the first major freeze-thaw cycle hit.
Peak was built around three commitments: spec exceeds MA code minimum on every pour (4 inches minimum, 6 inches at vehicle-load, #4 rebar grid, 4,000 PSI mix with proper air entrainment), ACI Certified Flatwork Finisher leads every project, and 5-year structural warranty in writing. Those commitments have not changed in 13 years and they are why Peak's repeat-GC base has grown from 1 (in 2014) to 18 active GCs today.
