Bed bug treatment for Houston homes — heat and chemical options

Bed bugs require different protocols depending on infestation level, room contents, and heat-sensitivity of furniture. We offer both heat treatment (most thorough, single-day) and chemical treatment (lower cost, two-visit protocol).

K9 detection is available for properties where visual inspection is inconclusive. K9 dogs certified by NESDCA can confirm the presence or absence of live bed bugs in a fraction of the time required for manual inspection.

All scheduling and communication is handled with privacy-first language. You will not receive calls about "bed bug treatment" — appointments are booked as general service visits at your preference.

Bed Bug Treatment — common questions

What is the difference between heat and chemical treatment?
Heat treatment raises the room to 120–135°F, which kills all life stages (eggs, nymphs, adults) in a single visit. Chemical treatment uses residual and contact sprays over two visits. Heat is more thorough; chemical is lower cost.
How long do I need to leave the house?
Heat treatment requires vacating for 6–8 hours. Chemical treatment requires vacating for 4 hours after each of the two visits. We provide a complete prep checklist before the appointment.
Will I need to throw out my mattress?
Not necessarily. Heat treatment kills bed bugs in mattresses in place. We recommend mattress encasements after treatment to make monitoring easier, but disposal is rarely required.
What is K9 detection?
Certified K9 dogs can detect live bed bugs by scent with high accuracy — faster and more thorough than manual inspection for large properties or when infestation location is unclear. It is an optional add-on for $195.
